The General News Hall:
Personal working terminals that are furnished with
phones, fax machines, computer connections, internet and
other technical services will be provided by the zone
designated for written press journalists. In addition to
this, such working terminals will be supplied with
personal computers with access to local web internet and
printers.
Access to web for local and international calls will be
availed through use of a card system activated by a pin
code, by use of prepaid cards supplied to Media center
by Qatar Telecommunications Co. QTel.
The News Room shall provide the following services:
- Sending and receiving faxes via the system of PIN
number which is used for phone basic services
- Sending photographs.
- Public phone boxes that work with cards supplied by
QTel and its agencies.
- Photocopying services.
- News Room will be provided with screens in connection
with internal circuit for the sake of televised coverage
of events and with the main TV networks
- There will be designated areas provided with the
necessary services for participating delegations for
radio and TV coverageGeneral
Information:
- Qatar Radio and Television Corporation shall offer all
technical services and reservations for areas of radio
and TV in the Media Center.
- Media Centre shall be provided with rooms for press
conferences.
- A special location will be reserved for TV studios and
for interviews.
Financial cost of participating International Channels
