Emergency
Preparedness:
To deal with any emergency, may
such will not be willed, the following arrangements will
be taken:
- There will be coordination with Causalities Committee
at Hamad Medical Corporation and with the Permanent
Committee for Causalities.
- Special rooms at hospitals will be reserved for the
hospitalization of urgent cases of delegates and
visitors, and some other rooms will be reserved for VIP.
- Emergencies and Causalities Department and Medical
Ambulance Services will be fully mobilized during the
time of the Conference.
Medical and First Aid Services:
1-Medical Clinics:
Medical clinics will be open around the clock at all
resident palaces of the delegates and a clinic at the
Conference Centre (during the sessions of the
Conference), at Doha Sheraton Hotel.
The arrangements of each clinic will be as follows:
* Each clinic shall have a physician and a nurse and
will be equipped as follows:
- A physician and a nurse will be available round the
clock.
- An ambulance with two first-aid staff will be
available round the clock, in front of each resident
location of the Conference.
- Required drugs will be supplied from the stores of the
Ministry of Health and Hamad Medical Corporation.
2- Ambulances:
The followings will be ambulances will be provided:
- A fully equipped ambulance at the airport with a
consultant physician during the arrival of delegations.
- An escort ambulance will accompany the presidential
corteges on the way from airport to the residence place
and to Conferences Center.
- An ambulance in front of each presidential and other
residential location of the delegations.
- An ambulance at the Conferences Centre with a
consultant physician, equipped with all necessary
requirements of attending round the clock, all emergency
cases.
